The Right Tree Work for Your Davidson Property
Free on-site assessments and written quotes for Davidson (2085) homes, strata and businesses
Pruning may be enough when branches need clearance or the canopy has outgrown its space. Removal may be needed for a dead, damaged or unsuitable tree, and stump grinding deals with the stump left behind.
We assess the tree, access and anything nearby that needs protecting before recommending the work for your Davidson property. Our team includes AQF Level 3 and AQF Level 5 qualified arborists. We'll explain the controls mapped in parts of Davidson: native vegetation near the bushland and bush fire prone land. When you get in touch, these details help us understand the job:
- Photos of the whole tree, its base and anything close to it
- Gates, stairs, parking or other access details
- Whether you want the stump ground and the timber taken away
- Any split, leaning or hanging branches that need urgent attention

Local Rules
Before Tree Work in Davidson
Parts of Davidson are mapped for planning controls that can change what tree work needs. Check your own address before work starts.
Next to national park or bushland
Parts of Davidson border Garigal National Park. Trees near the bushland edge are often native. If the land is on the NSW Biodiversity Values Map, removing a native tree may need a permit from the Native Vegetation Panel rather than Council.

Bush fire prone land and the 10/50 rule
Parts of Davidson are mapped as bush fire prone land, so some homes may be in a 10/50 vegetation clearing entitlement area, where trees within 10 metres of a home can be cleared without approval. Check the address with the RFS 10/50 online tool before clearing. The rule does not allow clearing within 100 metres of the coastline or an estuary.

“Sam and his crew did a fab job this week. Efficient, friendly, accommodating and professional. Even understood who the real client was in the process. :-) Would certainly recommend.”
The Forest McGrath
“Sam was delightful to work with. Very efficient and always responded in a timely manner. His work trimming bamboo down was fantastic.”
Josh Hardy
“Sam and the team at Affordable Tree Services Northern Beaches were fantastic to work with. They were exceptionally professional, highly safety-focused, and completely customer-oriented throughout the entire process. We had a tricky tree removal very close to our neighbor’s boundary line. Sam and the crew were remarkably kind and considerate to our older neighbor throughout the job. To make the process as quick and easy as possible, they carefully took down a section of fence and put it back up perfectly when the work was done. On top of the brilliant service, Sam worked directly with us to find a very fair, competitive price. If you need reliable tree services on the Northern Beaches, I can't recommend them highly enough.”
